City Library
The city library is called 'de Krook' and is well equipped with fiction, non-fiction, audio & documentation, mainly in Dutch, but also in various other languages. It is centrally located (Miriam Makebaplein 1) and is open from Monday till Saturday between 10h and 19h. On Thursdays till 21h. The building includes a multi-purpose room, a study room and a reading café. Urgent.fm 105.3 (student radio) is also one of the residents.
