Where is the low emission zone exactly?
Enter your destination on this interactive map and check if it is in the LEZ (orange zone).
The low-emission zone in Ghent is the zone within the Ghent city centre, with the exception of:
- City centre, excluding branches that may be part of it
- N430 (Nieuwewandeling - Blaisantvest axis), excluding branches that may be part of it
- entrance and exit roads from Parking Gent Zuid (P3) towards the R40 and E17 (B401 and Zuidparklaan). This car park is therefore accessible without entering the LEZ.
- the access road AZ Sint-Lucas car park: Terhagen. This car park is therefore accessible without entering the LEZ.
- car parks on the outskirts that you can enter and exit without having to enter the LEZ
- turning point low emission zone B401: Jules de Bruyckerdreef
Want to park outside the LEZ? These are your options
- Park at a free park-and-ride outside the LEZ.
- Park in the paying underground car park Gent Zuid. If your car is not allowed in the LEZ, you must enter the car park along Zuidparklaan. Indeed, the entrance on the Woodrow Wilsonplein is in the low-emission zone.
- Maybe the train or bus is faster? View the possibilities.
